Ingredients
2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tbsp ground almonds
1 tsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp chopped walnuts
1 tbsp flax seeds
1 tsp chia seeds
1 small banana (optional)
100ml almond milk
100ml water
Preparation
Mash the banana, if using and combine with all the ingredients.
Heat gently on the hob for about 10 minutes until the desired consistency is reached.
Top with homemade apple purée or 1/2 a chopped apple and 1/2 a pear.
Notes
This breakfast choice is perfect for busy mornings as it can be prepared in bulk and in advance; simply mix the porridge ingredients (excluding the banana) and store it in the fridge for an easy and quick heat-up.
